If using Windows 7
If you are using Windows7 You have to run SebecTec in "Windows
XP (Service Pack 3)" compatibility mode.
To run SebecTec in Windows XP
(Service Pack 3) compatibility mode, navigate to "SebecTec
Webcam.exe"; usually it is installed in C:\Program
Files\SebecTec LLC\SebecTec Webcam 1\. On 64 bit
computers it is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\SebecTec
LLC\SebecTec Webcam 1\..
Right click on the file and select Properties. Within Properties dialog,
select tab Compatibility. Within that tab set checkmark
on “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and
select “Windows
XP (Service Pack 3)”
Alternatively, if you want to be able to put a shortcut to SebecTec in the Windows Startup folder to have the program start automatically then you won't want to have to have a mouse input to allow the program to startup. In that case go to Windows Control Panel and search for UAC. Then set user account control slider to the minimum. That will let the program startup without user input.
